This is a picture of me in my work clothes. It is deliberately anachronistic, reminding the people who would attend one of my Pops concerts of the "golden age" when trombonists, trumpet players, clarinettists and the like could be, and were, superstars of popular music.
Sometimes I feel like the carriage makers when the automobile came around, or rather the Blacksmith, which is more apt. The Trombone industry is in decline, and has been since 1945. Hoping to coast along for a few more years on fumes. That would be nice...
