This is a picture of me in my work clothes. It is deliberately anachronistic, reminding the people who would attend one of my Pops concerts of the "golden age" when trombonists, trumpet players, clarinettists and the like could be, and were, superstars of popular music.
Sometimes I feel like the carriage makers when the automobile came around, or rather the Blacksmith, which is more apt. The Trombone industry is in decline, and has been since 1945. Hoping to coast along for a few more years on fumes. That would be nice...

A New Hope

Hi Fellas and Ladies,

Bonjour Les Copains et Copines,

Welcome to the blog. I am a musician and part time curmudgeon.

The "internets" are a vast and promising flea market, filled with junk to waste your time and energy, and Lord help me, I have just added my bit to the immense pile of crap!

Until the next post, I wish you all inner peace and even some outer peace as well, but as we know the inner peace is far more valuable and harder won.
